Mongol Girl 3

Here is a piece I did recently. I wanted to do something simple and see how far can I push it. I'm really happy how this one turned out. I can probably go further and detail alot of the other things. But I don't want to end up noodling around the same spot over and over. So I'd call this a finished one for now and move on to the next.

Enslaved - Monkey and Trip

A little fanart made to tribute Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. I finished it just a few days ago and really enjoyed the game. To me, it was really underrated for a game with this quality to not get more attention. The Environment was awesome, the Story was great, and the little cut scene FMV's were very enjoyable. The only down side was the gameplay which was very easy. It was just a basic hack and slash, but it did coup well with the other stuffs you do inbetween. Things like swinging and climbing around, the nimbus cloud water surfings, and the boss fights were very fun. Anyway, do give it a try if you haven't played it yet.

QAA-male LD

haven't done male model for quite a long while, but the poses were rather simple, so I had time to figure out and remember the structures and play around with the light and dark contrasts

Allston LD update

Got quite a few that I really liked from this session, I loved how the top one turned out. I've also included the longer one (last) from QAA, don't really like it, probably because of the Huge dark eyebrow i gave her, but theres stuffs here and there that I liked, so i'm posting it to look back later

Earthquake!!

There was an Earthquake on the east coast today, anyone felt it? Some of my coworkers felt the swaying, but some didnt, it was kind of half and half. I personally didn't feel anything.

LD Aug

LD update for this week. I did the same pose same angle twice, one with more accurate proportions, and the other more pushed. Usually I would just pose the pushed ones cause they tend to look nicer. But I do like the feel of this one so I'm including it in this post

Dr. Sketchy Boston July session

Haven't done short poses for a long time. So I'm just posting two of the more successful ones, cause the rest of them were disasters.

The times are two's, a five, and 2x 20's

It happens on the second Sunday of every month in Boston. It gets crowded most of the time, but suprisingly it was alright this week. We had a very nice pin-up model in for this session, which is what made this session exceptionally awesome.

Traditional zbrush

I had an awesome time over the past few weeks. One of our coworker's dad Glades Davis came in to the studio to teach us some techniques on sculpting. So I grabbed some screen shots of Elizabeth (Bioshock Infinite) from one of our character modeler Adam Bolton. This is actually the first sculpture that I've ever done, aside from the little tea pot we get to make when I was in my elementry school. I can't imagine the amount of fun I had doing this, hopefully I will have time to do more in the future.

Time spent was about 4-5 days of class time.
